Product Information

Our tensioned pleated blinds are ideal for conservatories and loft conversions with angled or sloping windows, and for horizontal skylight windows.

They can be used as bottom up blinds or as regular top down blinds.

As bottom up blinds, they are ideal for windows that are close to the street where you want to create privacy without blocking the whole window. Pull the blind up from the bottom and stop it at the desired level to stop prying eyes.

Our Palette Collection of tensioned pleated blinds are made with a non-woven fabric with a cellular structure which creates pockets of insulated air. Together, with the reflective white backside of the fabric, the pockets of air help to provide added heat retention in winter and helps to reduce heat gain in summer, helping you to make energy savings throughout the year. The concertina design creates a compact stacking height so that you get maximum view out of your window when the blind is pulled up.

Tensioned pleated blinds have guide wires which run through the fabric and along the length of the window. This clever design allows the blind to operate at any angle, even when the blind is completely horizontal.

The guide wires are tensioned with springs enclosed within the blind's headrail. This creates a very smooth operation when opening and closing the blind and allows the blind to be stopped at any desired position.

Our tensioned pleated blinds are made to measure and are made with a bottom rail and integrated handle. They are a child safe option as there are no hanging cords. They are made with a standard full width bottom bar, however little feet are also available.

Our Palette Collection of tensioned pleated blinds are moisture resistant and semi-transparent, providing dim out shading and privacy. It comes in a range of 20 colours to suit any interior. The same colours are also available as blackout blinds in our Palette Thermal Blackout Collection of Tensioned & Bottom Up Pleated Blinds.

Our Palette fabric is also available as free hanging pleated blinds and multi-zone tensioned pleated blinds.
