Every VELUX window has a type and size code, so you don't need to do any measuring. The size code is located on the data plate on the window which can be seen when you open the window. Just use this code when purchasing blinds for your VELUX window.

VELUX blackout blinds are ideal for bedrooms as they give you 100% blackout. The blinds operate smoothly along aluminium side channels, available in a white or brushed aluminium finish. The side channels prevent any light escaping around the edges of the blind. The blinds can be set at any desired position, giving you flexible light control. 

VELUX blackout blinds are made with a dirt-resistant polyester fabric. The fabric has a special aluminium backing which retains heat back into the room during winter, and reflects excessive heat from the sun during summer. The thermal properties of the fabric can improve your window's insulation by up to 20%.
