The Somfy Sonesse 40 RTS (230V Mains) motor is most suited to renovation and new-build projects and commercial applications where the motor can be wired to the mains power. Like all Somfy Sonesse motors, the motor is concealed within the top tube of the roller blind. The powerful lifting capacity means it can operate larger roller blinds with ultra-quiet, smooth operation. Roller blinds using this motor are made with a larger 55mm diameter top tube.

All our roller blinds can be made as electric/motorised blinds. They're perfect for the modern automated home or office and are essential for out of reach windows. They're also useful for enhancing child safety by eliminating the need for chains.

There are various ways to control your electric blinds - remote control handset, wall switch, TaHoma switch, Alexa, Google Home or Somfy myLink app.

To order a motorised blind, simply choose the type of roller blind required (e.g. sunscreen, blackout, etc.) and then select the desired motor under the 'Motorised Blind' option.

We include a free Somfy Situo 1 remote control handset with each motorised blind purchased.
