Terms and Conditions
In these terms 'We' or 'Us' or 'Our' means The Blind Shop Limited. 'Goods' means the blinds, window furnishings or other products manufactured or supplied by The Blind Shop Ltd and the subject of the order made by You.
'You’ and Your' means the person ordering the goods from The Blind Shop Limited. ‘Website’ means the website located at www.theblindshop.com or any subsequent URL which may replace it.
Price Match Guarantee
To make a Price Match claim, submit a competitor's quote for our review. The quote will need to detail the following:
Size of blind(s)
Type of blind(s)
Quotes must be dated within the last month. The prices matched must be for blinds/products that are the same in style, specification, size, colour, quality, delivery time and offered on the same terms. The price(s) matched must include VAT and delivery charges where applicable. We reserve the right to withdraw/amend this Price Match Guarantee at any time.
All prices shown include VAT. We accept PayPal, MasterCard, Maestro, Solo, Switch, Visa credit and Visa debit cards. We also accept cheques made payable to The Blind Shop Ltd. (Orders paid by cheque will not be processed until funds are cleared.)
Once your order is placed and payment is received a legally binding contract with you will arise.
The Contract and Your Right to Cancel
Made to measure blinds are classed as 'bespoke' and are exempt from the 14 day cancellation provision of the ICAC Regulations. Therefore you cannot change or cancel your order as the goods are custom made to your requirements and would not be re-saleable by us.
We will make all reasonable attempts to notice any irregularities in the orders for made to measure blinds, but ultimately we cannot be responsible for any errors made by you.
All other goods, such as feather dusters and accessories, are not exempt from these regulations and you are entitled to exercise your right to cancel within 14 days following receipt of the goods.
Please return the goods to us and we will issue you with a full refund. The cost of returning the goods is not included.
We will endeavour to fulfill your order by the delivery date as stated on the product page at the time of your order. If we are unable to meet that delivery date we will contact you with a revised delivery date.
Delivery will be completed when we deliver the goods to the delivery address you provide us.
Most deliveries are made by couriers who deliver weekdays generally between 9am - 6pm. You should inspect the goods as soon as they arrive and report any problems to email@example.com immediately.
If you are not available to take delivery of the goods, the courier will leave a note to inform you the goods have been returned to the courier's depot and that the courier will attempt to re-deliver the goods. You are liable for any re-delivery fees.
At the time of ordering you may choose for the goods to be accepted by somebody else (e.g. neighbour) or to be left in a place specified by you. Any such instructions are entirely at your own risk and we cannot be responsible for any loss, damage or theft of the goods.
If any goods are damaged or lost in transit, this must be recorded on the courier's delivery note. You must also report this immediately to firstname.lastname@example.org with photo evidence. We cannot accept claims for missing or damaged goods after the courier has left the delivery address, unless they have been recorded on the courier's delivery note.
We shall not be liable for loss occasioned by delay in delivery or arising out of any cause beyond our control. We advise you not to book a fitter to install a product until the order has been delivered and that you have checked that there are no defects and that all parts are complete.
