Measuring Guide for Roller Blinds
Fitting Instructions for Roller Blinds
Sunscreen is a high performance technical fabric. It cuts around 95% of the sun's UV (ultraviolet) and IR (infrared) light. UV is responsible for fading fabrics whilst IR creates heat build up.
Sunscreen roller blinds significantly reduce the sun's glare whilst still allowing light through. The effect is similar to putting on a pair of sunglasses. The fabric has an open weave that allows a view out whilst still providing privacy.
Sunscreen blinds are ideal for south-facing rooms where protection from the sun's heat and glare is required. They are often used in museums and galleries to protect artwork. They are also ideal for offices and home studies as they help cut reflections on computer screens.
Our Sunscreen roller blinds are hand made and are customisable with a choice of chain control (samples can be ordered on our Spare Parts & Accessories page), bottom bar, and bracket/mechanism colours. They also come with a position stop device for the chain control which stops the blind from rolling past the desired point.
For child safety, our roller blinds are supplied with a chain safety link and a chain tidy.
Our roller blind fabrics are cut using ultrasonic cutters rather than a conventional blades. This results in a sealed edge which prevents fraying.
Our roller blinds are available with various options such as bottom up, pelmet, cassette & side tracks, double blinds, linked blinds and motorised blinds.
