Measuring Guide for Pleated Blinds
Fitting Instructions for Tensioned Pleated Blinds
Tensioned pleated blinds are the ideal solution for conservatories, ceilings and any other windows which are not vertical.
The fabric of the blind folds in a concertina design to give a compact stacking height so that you get maximum view out of your window when the blind is open.
Tensioned pleated blinds have guide wires which run through the fabric and along the length of the window. This clever design allows the blind to operate at any angle, even when the blind is completely horizontal.
The guide wires are tensioned with springs enclosed within the blind's headrail. This creates a very smooth operation when opening and closing the blind and allows the blind to be stopped at any desired position.
Our tension pleated blinds are made to measure and are made with a white bottom bar with an integrated handle. They are a child safe option as there are no hanging cords.
Our Basics Collection of tensioned pleated blinds are made with fabric with a cellular structure which creates pockets of insulated air. This helps to provide added heat retention in winter and helps to reduce heat gain in summer, making them an eco-friendly choice.
Our Basics Collection of tensioned pleated blinds is an economical choice, providing shade and privacy in a range of 7 neutral colours. The same colours are also available as blackout blinds in our Basics Blackout Collection of tensioned pleated blinds.
Our Basics fabrics are also available as free hanging pleated blinds and multi-zone tensioned pleated blinds.
