Fitting Instructions for Free Hanging Pleated Blinds
Free hanging pleated blackout blinds are practical and economical and are often used in conjunction with tensioned pleated blinds in conservatories.
Our Basics Blackout Collection of free hanging pleated blinds are made with fabric with a cellular structure which creates pockets of insulated air. This helps to provide added heat retention in winter and helps to reduce heat gain in summer, making them an eco-friendly choice. The concertina design creates a compact stacking height so that you get maximum view out of your window when the blind is pulled up. The blackout fabric blocks the light and provides privacy.
Our free hanging pleated blinds have guide wires which run through the fabric and are attached with springs enclosed within the blind's headrail. This creates a very smooth operation when opening and closing the blind and allows the blind to be stopped at any desired position.
Our free hanging pleated blinds are made to measure and are made with a white bottom bar and a corded control that can be positioned on the left or right of the blind. They come with a cord tidy cleat for child safety.
Our Basics Blackout Collection of free hanging pleated blinds is available in a range of 7 neutral colours. The same colours are also available as non-blackout blinds in our Basics Collection of free hanging pleated blinds.
Our Basics Blackout fabrics are also available as tensioned pleated blinds and multi-zone tensioned pleated blinds.
