Why choose our wood venetians with fabric tapes?

Wide slat wood venetians provide excellent control of light and are well suited to a diverse range of environments and interior styles. But why choose the ones with fabric tapes?

Fabric tapes not only look more luxurious than string blinds, they also block the light more effectively. On a regular blind with strings, the holes in each of the slats are not covered when the blind is in the closed position. The light still comes through the slots on either side of each slat. However, on a blind with tapes, the tapes fully cover the holes and therefore when closed they cut out more light.
