Stacking Width The 'stacking width' is the width the vanes take up when the blind is fully open and the vanes are drawn back.  The wider the window, the greater number of vanes and therefore the greater stacking width. The stacking width should be considered when the blind needs to be clear of the window when it is completely pulled back, e.g. if the window opens inwards. In such situations, use the stacking width to calculate where the blind needs to be positioned. The table below shows the stacking widths for blinds that have a split stacking arrangement and a left/right side stacking arrangement.

Measuring Guide for Vertical Blinds

Fitting Instructions for Vertical Blinds

Product Information

Vertical blinds are perfect for bi-fold doors and tight clearance situations. They sweep back effortlessly and compact neatly providing minimum obstruction and maximum view.

Our Thermal Vertical blinds are made with a high performance thermal fabric which has metallic fibres woven into it. The metallic fibres reflect heat back into the room, reducing your heating bills and your carbon footprint. The fabric manufacturer estimates that a saving of around 15% can be made on heating costs. The front of the fabric has a soft quilted finish giving an added sense of warmth. It allows a little light through.

Our vertical blinds have contemporary, sleek styling. They are made with a metal track enclosed in a durable aluminium headrail in a choice of colours - matt white, gloss white or anthracite -  to suit your interior. They are made with a beaded chain to link the vanes and to control their angle, with a choice of colours/finishes for the chain. They are made with a matching cord control to open and close the vanes.

The drive and control mechanisms of our vertical blinds are engineered for fast, smooth and reliable operation. The width of the hangers, which attach the vanes, have been reduced so that when the vanes are drawn back, their stack is reduced by 20%, increasing the window view. The hangers have been designed to be encased in the headrail, thereby reducing the gap between the top of the vanes and the bottom of the headrail, decreasing the light gap.

For child safety, all our vertical blinds are supplied with child safety devices for the controls. We also offer another child-safe option by replacing control cords and chains with a control wand - please contact us for more information.

Our thermal fabric is also used in our Thermal Roller Blinds.
