Choose this option for total ease of installation. The motor is powered by a battery tube so there's no need for mains wiring and therefore no damage to walls.

The motor unit and radio receiver are housed within the tube of the roller blind and so can't be seen.

The motor is powered by a battery tube containing eight AA batteries (not included).  The battery tube is easy to install and is simply mounted to the wall using clips - there's no need for an electrician or to carry out any mains wiring.  The battery tube can usually fit neatly behind the roller blind where it is hidden from view.

The battery powered motor will operate any of our roller blinds up to a maximum of 4 square metres.  For larger sizes, we recommend using the more powerful transformer motor.

With typical usage, the batteries can be expected to last for one year before they need replacing.

The cost for the battery motor option, including the motor unit, radio receiver, battery tube and fixings, is £169. (This is in addition to the cost of the blind.)
