Terms & Conditions

In these terms 'We' or 'Us' or 'Our' means The Blind Shop Limited. 'Goods' means the blinds, window furnishings or other products manufactured or supplied by The Blind Shop Ltd and the subject of the order made by You. 'You’ and Your' means the person ordering the goods from The Blind Shop Limited. ‘Website’ means the website located at www.theblindshop.com or any subsequent URL which may replace it.

Payment

All prices shown include VAT. We accept PayPal, MasterCard, Maestro, Solo, Switch, Visa credit and Visa debit cards. We also accept cheques made payable to The Blind Shop Ltd. (Orders paid by cheque will not be processed until funds are cleared.

Once your order is placed and payment is received a legally binding contract with you will arise.

The Contract and Your Right to Cancel

A legally binding contract with you will arise once we have received payment for the goods. You cannot change or cancel your order as the goods are custom made to your requirements and these goods will not be re-saleable by us.

We will make all reasonable attempts to notice any irregularities in the orders we receive, but ultimately we cannot be responsible for any errors made by you. The rules set out in section 10 of the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 permit this exception.

Unforeseen Circumstances

If, due to unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to supply all the goods you have ordered we will contact you within 48 hours of receiving your order. You have the right to cancel your order if we are unable to complete the whole order.

If we are unable to contact you we will assume that you would want the whole order to be cancelled and we will not make any part of your order or charge you any amount.

Intellectual Property Rights

Our Website and its content are protected by intellectual property rights, including copyright and trade marks. Except as expressly authorised by us you agree not to copy, download, adapt, alter, modify, loan, sell, publish, broadcast, distribute or create derivative works of any content of the Website, in whole or in part.

The Website may be used only for lawful purposes and in a lawful manner. You agree to comply with all applicable laws, statutes and regulations regarding the Website and any transactions conducted on or through the Website.
